Registration fee and donations from Health Net will cover: Long sleeve shirt for each participant, stickers, food, beverages (non-alcoholic), supplies, equipment to be used, etc. We hope to be able to help everyone with camping cost reimbursement as well as additional goods depending on number of attendees!
Are you an outdoor enthusiast? Are you looking for opportunities to
merge your interests in outdoor adventures with your future as a
healthcare provider?
This conference will provide both didactic and hands-on opportunities to
build your knowledge on how to manage common emergencies in austere
environments and improvise with limited resources. Nationally renowned
healthcare providers with careers focused in wilderness medicine will host
sessions ranging from cave/confined space rescues, wilderness
toxicology/envenomations, WEMS medical command/field response, ultrasound,
hypothermia, ropes, patient packaging, medical kits, and suture
workshops.
